Create your first time card
Start with one shift. Add the rest once the dates and totals look right.
Choose the period
Open the time-card editor and select Weekly, Biweekly or Monthly. Review the first and last dates and choose the week start used by your record. Weekly covers seven dates, biweekly fourteen, and monthly the actual calendar month. An empty card shows no completed total.
Enter a complete shift
- Choose the shift’s start date and enter its start time.
- Enter the actual end date and time. Use the next date explicitly for an overnight shift.
- Add a project label or note if it will help you recognize the record.
- Add another shift for a separate work session.
Add breaks
Enter each break with its own dates and times, then choose Paid or Unpaid. The interval must lie within the shift and must not overlap another break. Only unpaid minutes are deducted. Paid minutes remain in the shift span and are not added again.
Review the result
A 09:00–17:30 shift with a 30-minute unpaid break counts as 08:00, or 8.00 decimal hours. Compare the day and period totals, and resolve any flagged rows. A missing end can be saved as a draft, but an unfinished shift does not provide a completed duration.
Keep the right copy
Save a named card to continue in this browser. Download project JSON to preserve the complete editable record and settings outside browser storage. Choose CSV for spreadsheet data or PDF for a reading copy. Check the downloaded file before treating it as your final record.
